The Ford F-150 is coming out with a new version for 2016, and pickup truck fans would do well to check out what’s in store for it. News has it that this iteration will have some pretty nifty upgrades, foremost of which is the integration of the new Sync 3 interface.
Apart from that, the 2016 Ford F-150 will be bringing back the Limited trim, packed with all sorts of luxury features to turn heads on the road, from its LED headlights to power running boards, remote start, tailgate release, and a panoramic sunroof.
Technology Package for better driving
There’s also the Technology package that’s meant to further help the driver make smarter decisions on the road, and actually put them into action. The lane-keeping system, for example, “nudges” the truck back into the right lane as soon as its sensors pick up that it’s crossing over a double line. It also carries a 360-degree camera and a trailer-hitch assist, all designed to let the driver just focus on the driving without stressing about anything else.
Safety, of course, will always be a primary focus for the car manufacturer. That’s why for the 2016 F-150, they have added a special front-structure brace to strengthen the body and better protect against impacts. It doesn’t hurt, too, that this addition also earned them top marks in the frontal crash test of the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
